Aguinaldo Park (Kaingen)

Aguinaldo Park is also known as Centennial Park. It was opened to the public on June 12, 1998 in celebration of the 100 years of Philippine independence from Spanish occupation declared in Aguinaldo's house adjacent to it.

Name was changed from Freedom/Centennial Park.

  • Just to give you additional information. The existing Freedom Park established during the Centennial celebration of Philippine Independence in 1998 is now also called Aguinaldo Park. Adjacent to the Aguinaldo loop road is the proposed Philippine Independence Park which serve as the extension of Freedom park/Aguinaldo Park. The said proposed Development of Philippine Independence Park is included in the approved Cavite Provincial Development Plan 2005-2010. The said project was already submitted to the office of Her Excellency Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, President of the Republic of the Philippines for consideration.
