Its a village which is like a place of religious thoughts. It is now having one Carbon Industry, one college, two high schools(english & assemese medium, a few temples, etc).

  • This place is still waiting for a revolution in the field of education and developement. Though, it is having some educational institutions starting from primary schools to college, still the villagers are not properly concious about study. So, majority of young boys and girls used to stop their studies just after H.S.L.C. But, its people are very nice. From that view, it can be said that with proper care from higher authority, a veri good improvement can be expected. Just the initialization is needed. Again, majority of its villagers depends on cultivation. But, nothing very good facility, the cultivators are getting at the moment i.e. water supply, tractors, etc.
