Ormiston Education is a non-profit organisation, which aims to raise educational standards in schools. Previously they were situated on Caroline Street. Between 2010-2011 they moved here to the site of the now defunct Museum of Science and Industry.

The site of this location was a silver electroplating factory belonging to George Richards Elkington, who was the first person to patent commercial electroplating.
