Nicknamed the "Coffee Pot," this lighthouse is located off of Orient Point, NY, at the end of the North Fork of Long Island. It was first lit on November 10, 1899 and its first keeper was Ole N.A. Anderson. It was automated by the U.S. Coast Guard in 1954 and sold to a private party on September 25, 2012 after it was declared excess to the needs of the U.S. Coast Guard.
