The Head is a steep landform with a summit at about 670 feet, near the west end of Sleeping Giant State Park in Hamden, CT. It features precipitous natural cliffs on its east side (the Chin), and a steep hiking trail up its west side, adjacent to precipitous cliffs created by quarrying of traprock in the first third of the 20th century.
