 YMCA, apartment building

One of the eight Red Road flats. It is a 31-storey block, with 30 habitable floors and a drying area on the 31st (roof) level. Together with the remaning five "point" blocks of the Red Road estate, this building is the highest occupiable point within Glasgow.

In 1980 the block was declared unfit for human habitation, and was refurbished as a YMCA, and also as a student hall of residence. The top floors (28-30) were also briefly sold as "executive" residences, but these proved unpopular and were abandoned.

As of early 2014, this is now the only Red Road block which is still occupied.
