The Palais du Tau ("Palace of Tau") was the palace of the Archbishop of Reims. It is where the Kings of France stayed before their coronation in the nearby cathedral. The palace now houses the Musée de l'Oeuvre, displaying statuary and tapestries from the cathedral, together with reliquaries and other objects associated with the coronation of the French kings.
