Born in Navotas, Rizal, April 16, 1892.
Pioneer in the Restaurant Industry, promoter of Filipino food and the baro't saya;
Feminist.
Started in the business by means of opening a Lapu-Lapu canteen that serves popular Filipino food at Marquez de Comillas, Manila, 1925.
This was followed by a travelling store that was named 'Aristocrat', 1936;
Established Aristocrat Restaurant at Dewey Boulevard (now, Roxas Boulevard), 1939;
Joined the Suffragette Movement, 1937;
Achieved the honorable recognition as Mother of the Outstanding Family of the Year: Republic Day Award, 1955;
Most Outstanding Woman Award for Marketing by the Philippine Marketing Association, 1967;
In her honor, the Ginang Ina Award for Outstanding Mother of the Year was established by the Pambansang Kabataang Barangay, 1982.
Died July 6, 1975.
