Norfolk Gliding Club was established almost 50 years ago, and operates from Tibenham Airfield, in South Norfolk. We fly seven days a week, and offer glider flights, training, and holiday courses.

The Club offers unique facilities for all sorts and conditions of aviator, from 'Fundit' to Pundit; Competition Pilot to World Champion, along with a growing number of power pilots, attracted by our three excellent runways. A highly qualified and hard working band of enthusiastic instructors give freely of time & expertise to uphold our record as a training club.

We are especially proud of our Cadet Scheme, which offers free flying training to young persons, and encourages their continued participation in the sport. 2007 saw one of our cadets receive the Royal Aero Club's "President's Rolex Trophy" for achievement in aviation by a young person.
