Hycroft Manor is a 20,000 square-foot, 30-room, 3-storey Edwardian mansion on 5.2 acres and is the home of the University Women's Club of Vancouver from whom its available to rent for weddings, fundraising events, lectures, meetings, etc.

Built for politician & WWI hero General Alexander Duncan McRae, this stately mansion is believed to be home to as many as seven ghosts. Hycroft has a full bar (from the time of prohibition in Vancouver), 10 fireplaces, 5 solariums, 2 lounges, a library, a ballroom with a sprung floor and hidden tunnels and passageways that used to lead to other buildings on the property. During World War II the McRaes sold Hycroft to the federal government for $1 to be used as a 130-bed veteran’s hospital (Shaughnessy Military Hospital), more recently its been used by Vancouver's film and television production industry as a filming location and the French Olympic Team also used the building during the 2010 Winter Olympics.

Hycroft Manor has been owned by the UWCV since 1962.
