One of eight elements (L1-L8) of the infrasound monitoring array at Damerdjog. The array was installed as part of the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organisation's global monitoring network. Low-frequency acoustic data acquired by each element is transmitted to a repeater station to the north, where it is relayed to a Central Recording Facility at Arta Geophysical Observatory (about 35 km to the west).
