Ancestral Puebloan (aka Rio Grande Anasazi) pueblo ruin. Occupied c. 1314-1400, it is claimed to be an ancestral pueblo by the Tewa people and is the westernmost of their sites. Also called Chipiinuinge; Tziipinguinge; Tsiping’onwige; Tsiping’onwikeji, Tsi-p'in-owinge. New Mexico Laboratory of Anthropology site number LA 301.
