From Ghost Ranch there is a wonderful view across the Abiquiu Valley to the Cerro Pedernal, where the ashes of artist Georgia O'Keeffe (1887-1986) are scattered. O'Keeffe had her own home for years at Ghost Ranch and eventually moved to nearby Abiquiu.
