Recently completed in Dec 2011 as a part & parcel of the overall Loudon Square re-development project. One of the main focal points of the scheme is the community hub. It is located directly off the new public space (Plas Iona) and will act as the heart of the scheme. The hub provides a communal space that allows access to the health centre, pharmacy, community space and the enterprise units.

Within the community hub Cardiff Council will be introducing a Contact Centre that will be a 'one stop' service. The facility will be able to answer all of your basic Council enquiries and will be able to help you contact the right people for the more complex issue's. Cardiff Council staff will also have a specialist service for benefit enquires operating an on site appointment system.

Internally the ‘Hub’ provides a high quality light entrance with glazed balustrading and a feature staircase with a bridge providing access to the health centre on the 1st floor.

Flexible Community Space
Directly above the retail units on the first floor will be an area that is dedicated for community use. This space will be designed to be as flexible as possible to accommodate as many public activities as possible.
