The schooner Col. A.B. Williams, sunk in 1865, is the oldest known shipwreck in the Sanilac Shores Underwater Preserve. The wreck is sitting upright in 80 feet of water, and is mostly intact except for the stern. The bowsprit is still standing proudly, and is the highlight of the dive.
