Established in the late 1950's. This church was a small rectangular building with poor heating and no air conditioning. There was also a small inactive Catholic school next to the church. Father Denis O'Regan became pastor in 1972, and through his steady determination for nearly thirty years, he transformed the humble church into a large Catholic complex with a congregation ten times the size of when he started, complete with a fully-functioning school. Father O'Regan retired for health reasons on February 24, 2001 and he died on August 25 2005.
