Ketti Railway Station, Nilgiri Mountain Railway

Scenic location and featured in several movies, including Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi films. Trains between Ooty and Coonoor used to cross each other at this station decades ago, but no longer so, due to depleted services hauled by prosaic YDM-4 diesel locomotives. Local residents and tourists want steam traction to be restored on this UNESCO World Heritage railway line.
