This area is located in Ubatuba and has about 47.500ha of Atlantic Forest. The site is very important for the conservation of the restinga forest. Many endagered mammals of São Paulo state were found, like the white-lipped peccary, muriqui and jaguar. It's the only part of the Serra do Mar State Park that reaches the coastline. The predatory tourism and illegal hunting threats the conservation of the area.
