NASA Cranked-Arrow Delta Wing research aircraft, originally designed for the USAF Enhanced Tactical Fighter (ETF) competition. After losing the competition to the F-15E Strike Eagle, both F-16XL prototypes were turned over to NASA where they perform aeronautical research at Dryden.
