Imanlar - the village is in the foothills. The name of the village is connected with the name of the descendants of the faiths who settled there.
Imanlar village is located in the northern part of the district, 68 km from the district center. Shalva village is included in the territorial-administrative unit. The village, built at an altitude of 1800 m above sea level, borders with the villages of Shalva, Hajikhanli, Dambulag and Oguldere.
Imanlar village belongs to Garabayramli tribe of Hajisamli community. The village was founded by Iman Shahverdi oglu, who lived in the first half of the 19th century. Iman was married to Cicek. He had sons named Asad, Mammadhasan, Novruz, Bayramali, Abbas, Hasan, and daughters named Pari and Sakina.
His eldest son Asad was born in a village belonging to the Hajisamli community of the Garachorlu district of Karabakh. He was engaged in cattle breeding and, in part, agriculture. Assad was married to Gulustan. He had a son named Shahverdi and a daughter named Gunesh.
They gave birth to Assad, Mammadhasan gave birth to Mammadhasan, Novruz gave birth to Novruz, Mashadi gave birth to Bayramali, and Hasan gave birth to Hasan. Abbas had no children.
Mashadi Salim, one of the most educated people in the village, is the son of Mustafa, Mustafa Novruz and Iman. Novruz had 3 sons: - Jabbar, Nasib, Mustafa. Each of these 3 brothers has 6 sons and the family grows. Mustafa's sons are Karim, Hamid, Museyib, Hashim, Rajab and Mashadi Salim. Only one of these six brothers, Salim, studied theology.
