Şahtaxtı (also, Shah Takhti and Shakhtakhty) is a village and municipality in the Kangarli Rayon of Nakhchivan, Azerbaijan. It has a population of 3,092. Formerly there was a small Armenian town named Ark'ayashat ( Armenian: Արքայաշատ ) that in Armenian language means "King's Residence".
