Bobowasi Island is an island in the African country of Ghana located in the Axim Bay in the Atlantic Ocean, near the town of Axim (to 1.8 km) and the castle of the same name (Axim Castle) north of the Watts rock, east of the Egwang Rock to the south of the Mensell Hedwig Rock, at the geographic coordinates 04°52′N 02°15′W it installed a lighthouse, which serves the sector. Administratively it is part of the Western Region of Ghana. 238 kilometers west of the capital Accra
