  • Sekondi-Takoradi is situated on the Gulf of Guinea, 180km southeast of Accra, the capital of Ghana. It is the capital of the Western Region of Ghana. Sekondi-Takoradi offer a relaxed living environment and an easy going living place. It is the third largest city in Ghana and home to the first deep seaport of Ghana. The traffic in this city is less intensive as compared to the other two large cities of Accra and Kumasi in Ghana. Sekondi-Takoradi has one of the most extensive and comfortable road network in Ghana as almost all the major and minor roads have been tarred with bitumen. Transportation within and outside this twin city is by road, rail, air and sea. Sekondi-Takoradi has rail engineering, boat building, flour milling, cocoa processing,timber milling and paper producing industries.
