Before it was a village of Gafargaon upazilla in Mymensingh district.8 unions are there,such as-Datter bazar, Usti, Panchbag, Mashakhali,Longair,Paithol, Niguary & Tangab.Pagla thana's Location:west-Bhaluka and some part of Sreepur,south-Shitolakkha river & Kapasia,east-Brahmaputra river,pakundia and Hossenpur,and North-Gafargaon upazilla.I am proud of "PAGLA" because its my birth place.(aminul pagla teckpara)
