  • This was built 10 years ago (1999)
  • Austin ISD's newest high school. Previous newest was Bowie, in the early '80s. Prior to that was LBJ, opened in 1974. Despite strong growth in the Austin area, only three new high schools built in the city in the last third of a century. Contrast that to four high schools built in that time frame in Round Rock ISD, and four in Leander ISD.
