Site of the World War II disciplinary labor camp and later an interment camp, it was transformed into a Gypsy camp in August 1942. The families of the majority of the Roma (Gypsies) in Bohemia were forcibly sent here during Nazi occupation. More than 1300 men, women and children passed through the Gypsy camp at Lety.
