242-foot, 18-story Beaux-Arts school and office building completed in 1910 for Henry Corn. Designed by Maynicke & Franke, it spans seven bays on Fifth Avenue (with paired windows in the center and single-windows at the end bays), and seven bays along 12th Street (all paired windows). It has a 3-story limestone base with segmental-arched 2nd-floor windows (round-arched at the single-window end bays). Keystones at the peaks of the arches reach up to the thick, projecting sills of the 3rd-floor windows. The piers stand on grey granite bases. The base is capped by projecting stone band course with alternating circles and foliate patterns. A broad stone cornice caps the 4th floor.

Above a shaft clad in buff-colored brick, the 4-story top section is faced in stone and terra-cotta, with a detailed ornamental band above the 15th floor, and 3-story arches at the top. Here the bays are divided by fluted pilasters wit Corinthian capitals. The building is crowned by a large modillioned and dentiled roof cornice.

Formerly home to the Literary Guild of America and W.W. Norton & Co. Publishers. It also housed it housed several recording studios that launched the careers of jazz and blues trailblazers. The Columbia Phonograph Company starting in 1924 supported African Americans such as Louis Armstrong, John Hammond, and Aretha Franklin. The lower 11 floors are owned and occupied by Yeshiva University's Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law with their own separate entrance on the corner of 11th Street and Fifth Avenue. The Guttman Diagnostic Center is the other principal tenant.
