1930s building originally intended as a transmitting station by 3ZB. For a period when the 3ZB headquarter were out of action studio broadcasts were made from here and a number of famous names in New Zealand Radio broadcasted from here including Maude Basham [Aunt Daisy] Long disused for Radio work it is currently empty while a new use is found for this historic structure. To the west is the site of the demolished Broadcast Tower.
