Wigram airfield is now closed. Airfield originally used for RNZ Air Force. Was closed circa 2000. Air museum still open. Pioneer DC-3 sometimes flies from this air field. Was Also used for motor racing . Was the home of the Lady Wigram Trophy Race, once a prized trophy of the international motor racing scene.
