settlement, iron age

The remains of probable courtyard houses and settlement. The remains consist of a complex of earth and stone banks, and fragmentary walls of at least two, possibly three, courtyard houses. Just east of these are other remains consisting of earth and stone banks overgrown with bushes and bracken. They are too ruinous to determine the original plan, but appear to be a courtyard house, possible with later modifications. North of the first two sites is a rectangular enclosure which seems to be the remains of an early, possibly, medieval building.
