K-State's football stadium until 1968, it seats 22,500.
Today Memorial Stadium serves a variety of purposes. The field is used by club soccer and rugby among other sports as well as marching band practice in the fall, while the east stand is the K-State Welcome Center for all incoming and potential students and the West side has also been fully renovated and includes the Purple Masque Theater. They're also in the process of turning most of the bleacher portion into a garden with many native tall grasses and flowers.
