Building 18 (or 18A) is a warehouse at the former Alcoa plant and current Schreiber Industrial Park. In 1943-44, the building was used for production of canned uranium slugs as part of the Manhattan Project. Analysis of dust samples in 1991 by a team from Oak Ridge National Laboratory showed no radionuclide concentrations above Department of Energy guidelines.
