Operating for years as JJ's Liquor, a small building with "J.J.'s" written in yellow lit signs along the perimeter, was sold to Spec's in 2010. For a while, both stores operated but eventually JJ's was shut down for Spec's Wholesale Liquor. The main J.J.'s road sign is gone and the building is closed to the public, but the J.J.'s signage still exists on the perimeter. By 2017 it permanently shut down when a new Spec's opened with a wholesale department on University Drive.
