" Ridge " Hradisko " ( 335 m asl) , controls the Strait Bojnianka valley of the river , along which led the old , now little used route between Považie and Ponitrie through mountains Považský Inovec . Sounding the records confirmed the earlier settlement of the late Roman period , from the time of migration of peoples and the early Middle Ages , probably from the beginning of IX . century. The terrain is quite clearly visible complex system of fortifications , which complements the natural protection of this site - steep cliffs on the west and south side of a deep ravine to the northeast of the site. Valled embankment going around the perimeter platforms is high compared to an easily accessible area in the north . Fortification is strong in this part , consisting of a double line of rampart and ditch system . Here is also the entrance to the campus, passing perpendicularly to the fortifications. Its present width ( do not know whether the original or extended current relevant ) is about 3 m. To the west continues to fortify only 25-30 mA it follows the line that ends at a steep hillside . The outer rampart in these areas amounts to 3 to 3.5 m. Next to the entrance - to the east line of external walls with slopes decrease slightly curved towards the southeast. This perimeter walls at right angles northerly direction extends another mound with a ditch on the west side , about 85 meters long So to create a fortified predhradie.V valov both the coupling point is seen a small increase in ground where there was probably a tower . On the hill-fort in addition to pottery found several rare coins , buckles and attaches bronze kettles . Two denarii of Marcus Aurelius and other objects are clearly in the second half of the second century.
