The village is mentioned in 1245 under the name TULWEJ. The current name was mentioned in the 18th century Slovak title was in 1960, the Mother of God. In 1910 the population was 398 Hungarian. In 1919 shootout between the Czech and Slovak soldiers and the local population. Electricity was introduced in 1938. In 1938-1945 it fell Horthy's Hungary, the border village ( neighboring villages and Čataj Blatné already lying in Slovakia). Freed 01/04/1945. From 1949 to 1960 belonged to the district Senec, then in the late 80 Galanta years in the 90s temporarily district Bratislava - around since 1996 and is once again in the district Senec.
