This is the location of the former Mt Clemens Rose Gardens, a series of greenhouses well know for suppling the midwest with fresh cut flowers. As business dwindled in the 80's & 90's due to cheap imported flowers, it became more and more difficult to turn a profit. The greenhouses were closed in the 90's and razed in the early 00's to make way for new subdivisions.
