It was built in 1919 for the miners who worked the Little Daisy Mine, nearby. The miners had a room for an eight hour shift. Then he had to get out because the next shift was coming in.

For the last few decades, the abandoned hotel had been an abandoned shell, but it is in the process of being restored for use as a private residence.
