  • Frances and Ingleton streets. Windowless house, fenced. Large power connections strung from lane.
  • Also is an escape tunnel to the surface from the midpoint of the train tunnel.
  • And is 200 metres above the tunnel.
  • This area is about 77 m above sea level, with the tunnel entrance (Burnaby) around 20m and exit (Vancouver) around 30m. That this building is 45m above the tunnel seems very likely.
  • 200 feet.
  • You are absolutely correct. In the 70's my foolish friends and I would run through the tunnel and up the 150ft escape ladders and exit the building and walk back to my volkswagen bug and drive home. We had to race the allarm. Fun back then, doesn't seem like a terribly smart idea now :)
  • You sir are a Burnaby legend in my book! That's some mission impossible stuff!
