France / Picardie / Noyon /
 cathedral, church

The former cathedral Notre-Dame of Noyon is one of the earliest Gothic cathedrals (begun c. 1145). Like the cathedrals of Tournai and Soissons, it is unusual in that its transepts have apsidal (rounded) ends.
