Formerly the home of Cava Secreta, Saskatoon's first private liquor store. It specialized in wine and also held events such as themed dinners. In 2012, the owners of Cava Secreta were ordered by the Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority (SLGA) to shut down their business by May 29. Auditors discovered that Cava, under the direction of its former CEO Cameron Rizos, had violated its agreement with the governing body by buying liquor directly from suppliers, instead of through the SLGA. It closed ahead of schedule on May 7, 2012.
