  • Dr. Blood's House of Horror dark ride, built in the 70's with props from Fantasies and Dreams what was once Bill Tracy's Amusement Displays until his death in the early 70's was just torn down. It was the last ride remaining from the old Sportland pre-1985. Fantasies and Dreams-Jim Melonic also did the Bucket O' Blood at Dorney Park, Allentown, PA (burned Sept. 1983) and the Haunted Mansion at Rehoboth Beach. Fantasies and Dreams folded in 1979. Dr. Blood's was that tan rectangular building you see by the go-karts on the south middle edge of the pier. It was shuttered since the early 80's.
