  • When I lived here from 1988 to 1992, the USS Saratoga (CV-60) was berthed at Charlie I and the USS Forrestal (CV-59)(My Dad's Ship) was berthed at Charlie II.
  • I have also seen a picture of the USS Harry Truman (CVN-75), a Nimitz Class Nuclear Carrier entering Mayport. When we were living there, everybody said a Nuclear Carrier could not enter Mayport.
