Arrowrock Dam

USA / Idaho / Idaho City /

Situated 20 miles northeast of Boise, Arrowrock was once the tallest dam in the world at 350 feet, and is still used to control water levels from the upper reaches of the Middle Fork of the Boise River. Snowmelt from the west side of the Sawtooth Mountains flows toward this dam. Water below the dam flows to the Lucky Peak Dam, Diversion Dam, Barber Dam, Lower Barber Dam, and eventually the Snake River.
