(Outline approximate.)

This was the site of the "second" Iron Springs Hotel, a historic resort hotel built in 1884 by the Manitou Iron Springs Company. Originally quite small, it was expanded to 65 rooms in 1885. It burned down in 1907.

The second Iron Springs Hotel replaced the "first" Iron Springs Hotel, which was located on what is now Pilot Knob Avenue, about a half mile to the northeast. It was itself replaced by the (much smaller) "third" Iron Springs Hotel, which was located just adjacent to the east.
