WITS GOLD DBM (Debron Merriespruit) Project holds title to 100% of all the N OP Rights in the DBM project after concluding a deal with Harmony Gold in September 2010 in which WITS acquired the Merriespruit South area. This deal also saw the option which was previously held by Armgold/Harmony Freehold Joint Venture Company to acquire a 40% interest in future mine venture cancelled, thus giving WITS full control. There are no gold outcrops within the project and the shallowest reef intersections occur around 461.8m below surface as shown by drillhole WF2.
