Stone cairn monument: 'Dedicated to the Honour and Memory of The Doukhobors who came to Canada in 1899 seeking Peace and Freedom and establishing a community in Love and Brotherhood. They created and built the village of Slavanka, located on this land N.E.17.44.5W3. Erected in 1990 by the descendants of Anastasia (Kanigan) [1872-1957] and Semyon F. Osachoff [1871-1951].'
