Former unmanned gap filler radar site. The AN/FPS-14 radars used at gap filler sites were used to fill in the low-altitude radar coverage gaps between long-range Aircraft Control & Warning radar sites. Other gap fillers under Cape Charles AFS control were located at Temperanceville, VA and Bethany Beach, DE.
