  • Hi Doc, Just found this site. I have a photo of us having a good time in the EM club. I was there from Oct 68 to Mar of 70. I was called several things, but mostly Hippie J. John Bradley
  • The bar was named Walters. I was also there in 68 and 69. Third platoon. Some of the names I remember. Stan Waters, Ken Rickert, Juan Marteen, George Garret, Dan Papineau, Ben Pensada, Big O (forgot last name). There was a sign on the front of the barracks saying Daddy's Dougs Place. I'm Ed Capizzi.
  • The name of the bar was Zum Walter. Walter was the owner.
  • I was there from 8/1964 to 3/1966. I spend about 6 months TDY at Ramstein Air Base. All my army clothes are long gone and I’d love to see what our patches looked like again. I’m want to get a cap made with the patch and dates on it. When we were sent home of course we were not to popular with our American citizens peers. I’m glad to see how things have changed.
