Former Great Lakes ore freighter preserved as a museum.
One of the signature artifacts on display is the aluminum lifeboat from the lost ore carrier Edmund Fitzgerald. The lifeboat looks like it has been put through a car crusher and is a testament to the severe storm conditions the night the ship sank in 1975.
