Krapets is a quiet place, known for its sand dunes and birds that nest and spend the winter in its vicinities. Lakes that are nature reserves surround the village.
The 6-kilometre-long beach between Krapets and Durankulak Villages is a perfect marvel with its pristine dunes of just the few surviving on the Black Sea coastline, the calm and serene sea a soft sandy bottom.
Population 313 inhabitants (15.09.2022 - National Statistical Institute).
